Marie has grown up in the Central Florida area since 1990, after her family relocated from San Francisco, California. Upon obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Central Florida, she jumped right into a 15-year career in Human Resources within the Public Sector. She also served as the County Director for Special Olympics Florida – Seminole County between 2009 and 2015.

In 2012, Marie and her husband, Joe, were married and later had their two young children, Lucas and Layla. Marie and her family officially joined the Northland family in 2018, when their children entered the Co-op program. They watched their children flourish on so many levels through this amazing program, and the friendships and memories that have been made by the entire family will last a lifetime!

After taking some time to focus on her young family, Marie joined Northland’s Staff in 2019 as a part-time Accounting Clerk. More recently, Marie stepped back into the HR realm as the Interim HR Manager, as of November 2020.

Marie has always had a passion for serving and is excited to be able to serve Northland’s staff on this journey of “Engaging People to be Fully Alive in Jesus.”
