As a church, we are committed to being a light for Christ as well as a source of spiritual and practical help. We also remain dedicated to “bearing one another’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2) as a local church family. We've recently realigned our benevolence program to cover the larger needs of our congregation.
We have funds available to cover the immediate needs of food and transportation on a case-by-case basis.
There are many local organizations that are a great place to start depending on your needs. You can view a resource list for Seminole and Orange County below.
For those that call Northland home (members), we have a Benevolence Fund for larger needs like rent, shelter, bills (medical or household), and car repair.
Ministers on Duty are available Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in person or by calling the front desk at 407-949-4000.
These ministers are available to encourage and pray for those needing someone to connect with, to listen, suggest resources, and offer Biblical support.
Stephen Ministers provide high quality, one-to-one Christ centered care to people experiencing life difficulties. Ministers go through an extensive training, and are equipped to offer care to those who are hurting. If you are going through a difficult time in your life and would like to consider having a Stephen Minister walk with you, call for more information.
