Chris Storms began following Jesus in the seventh grade. He grew up in Seminole County, graduated from Lake Howell High School, and then served in the U.S. Navy as a Religious Program Specialist. In 1994 Chris returned home to attend UCF, and he started worshiping at Northland, participating in the college ministry. Chris taught social studies, leadership, and technology at Winter Springs High School and coached volleyball and softball. At Northland, he has served as a Shepherding Elder and in a support role for Student Ministries, helping with camping trips and occasional speaking.

Chris met his wife, Anne at Northland in 1995, and they were married in 1999. They live in Winter Springs with their three daughters, Ashlyn (16), Emily (14), and Molly (10). Anne spent several years working as a teacher in Northland’s Co-Op which all three girls attended. The Storms family loves to travel and be outdoors. You’ll usually find them on the softball field, archery range, or on the water.

Chris is on staff with Young Life Seminole County, a ministry with the mission of introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith. Since 1991 he has been serving in Young Life as a volunteer leader and later a part-time staff member since. In 2016 Chris took on the full-time role of Area Director overseeing ministry teams at Seminole County high schools and middle schools.
