You may have experienced Lent as a part of your church tradition growing up or you may be new to the concept. Below are opportunities that will assist you on your Lenten journey for 2022. These range from a weekly bible study, guided prayer, and a study just for children. We have something for everyone. So, why not choose one or more of the following options:
DIGGING DEEPER BIBLE STUDY
Beginning with Ash Wednesday and continuing on during the season of Lent, we will be printing and handing out copies of Northland’s weekly Bible Study. You can also find them online at NorthlandChurch.net/DiggingDeeper
SEEK GOD FOR THE CITY
This option provides guided prayers that help you specifically pray for the people of your own community and around the world. Download the app or purchase a copy in the bookstore.
FAMILY LENT WITH THE SEVEN STARS OF LENT
This Northland produced webpage provides weekly activities designed for families who wish to build truths into their worship time during the Lenten season. This is a good option if you want to walk through the season of Lent with your family, especially if you have young children. This is available online at NorthlandChurch.net/FamilyLentResources
PRAYER WALK FOR NORTHLAND CHURCH
We hope that many of you will participate in praying for Northland during this time. As the children of Israel walked around the city of Jericho, we ask that you, if able, would physically walk around the Northland property as well as our foyer and office spaces. Another option would be to browse Northland’s website and pray as you go. Our aim is that your prayers will, unlike what happened to Jericho, help Northland thrive and continue her kingdom work.
