The Wise Builder/The Vine and the Branches (June 20-21)

June 16, 2020

We have a new parable to learn this week! A parable is a story that teaches a lesson. Jesus used parables to teach people about God’s kingdom.

When you sit at home: Ages 3-K read Matthew 7:24-27. Grades 1-5 read John 15:1-12. What are we to learn from the parable you read?

When you walk along the road: How can we remain close to Jesus? What happens when we do?

When you lie down: Pray this prayer each day this week: “Thank you, Lord, for giving us a way to be close to You and to make wise choices. Amen.”

When you get up: Build or make something to help you remember this week’s parable. Tell someone you know the lesson you learned.
