Worship Christ today for His Spirit, which He sent to the disciples at Pentecost. He "poured out" His Spirit on all flesh, just as the prophet Joel had prophesied (Joel 2:28). Jesus used the same words to describe the cup of salvation at the Last Supper, which He "poured out" for all (Matt 26:28, Mark 14:24, Luke 22:20). That's our model for church. We are the "poured out ones."
