We worship the Spirit who changes us. In Acts 9, we read how God used Saul to tell others about Jesus. When people heard Saul speak about the amazing things God had done and saw the change in his life, the Holy Spirit changed their hearts.
When you sit at home: Read Acts 9:19b-25. Why were people surprised when Saul began preaching Jesus is the Son of God?
When you walk along the road: One great way to tell others about Jesus is to tell them the good things He has done in your life. Take turns sharing the good things Jesus has done for you and your family.
When you lie down: Pray this prayer each day this week: “Thank You, Lord, for filling us with the Holy Spirit so we can tell others about You. Help us to be open to the opportunities You give us to share. Amen.”
When you get up: This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. Talk together about what Lent is and why it’s important. For more information about Lent and a short weekly family devotional, check out The Seven Stars of Lent on the Northland website.
