Paul Speaks to the Crowd (May 8-9)

Paul Speaks to the Crowd (May 8-9)

May 7, 2021

We worship the Spirit who connects us to each other and to Jesus. This weekend in children’s church, we will read how God gave Paul boldness to tell his story to the people of Jerusalem. We’ll talk about how God wants us to share stories about Him and that He will give us the courage to do it.

When you sit at home: Age 3-Kindergarten read Acts 21:33-36, 39-40; 22:1-11. Grades 1-2 read Acts 21:27, 33-36, 40; 22:1; 23:11. Grade 3 reads Acts 21:27, 33-36, 40; 22:1; 23:11, 23-24. Grades 4-5 read Acts 21:27, 33-36, 40; 22:1, 3-4; 23:11, 23-24. Paul’s friends feared for his safety. They begged him to not go to Jerusalem, but he insisted because he knew it was God’s plan for him to tell others about Jesus. What did Paul tell the people?

When you walk along the road: Paul told the people his story of how Jesus appeared to him on the road to Damascus and how it changed his life. If you believe Jesus is Lord of your life, that’s part of your story. Take turns sharing your story with each other. Who else could you share your story with?

When you lie down: Pray this prayer each day this week: “Thank You, Lord, for the way You create the story of our lives. Give us an awareness of our story and the courage to share it with others. Amen.”

When you get up: You can share your Bible memory verse songs with those you know by playing them in English, Spanish, or Arabic in the Northland Church app. Check out Children's Ministries on the app below!
