Paul Imprisoned in Rome (May 29-30)

May 27, 2021

We worship the Spirit who helps us connect others with God by giving us bold words of truth about Him. This weekend in children’s church, we will read how God called Paul to boldly teach the Jews and Gentiles about Jesus. We’ll talk about how we can tell people about Jesus wherever we are and we will be challenged to serve God faithfully.

When you sit at home: Age 3-Kindergarten read Acts 28:16, 30-31. Grades 1-2 read Acts 28:23-24, 30-31. Grade 3 reads Acts 28:23-31.Grades 4-5 read Acts 28:23-31; Philippians 1:12-14. How did Paul serve God faithfully?

When you walk along the road: Why is it difficult sometimes to tell other people about Jesus? How do the stories we’ve read about Paul encourage you to share your faith with others?

When you lie down: Pray this prayer each day this week: “Thank You, Lord, for who You are and what You have done for us. Give us the courage every day to boldly share truth about Your Son Jesus with others.”

When you get up: Today, we read the final story in the book of Acts. Choose your favorite story and share it with someone. You could read the Bible story from your Bible or a book of Bible stories, you could draw the story, or you could even act it out! We’d love to hear what you do. Post your story on the Northland Children’s Ministry Facebook page or email us at children@northlandchurch.net.
