There are more than 175,000 public school teachers in the State of Florida. So when you’re honored as one of the best in your field … it’s a big deal!
Paul Brown is a long-time Northlander who worships and serves at the church with his wife, Val, including leading Financial Peace University classes. He also teaches at Oviedo High School, where he was recently named Teacher of the Year.
From there, he went on to run for Seminole County's Teacher of the Year title and was ultimately honored as a Seminole County Public Schools' High School Finalist.
“A dynamic individual, Paul is a role model at Oviedo High School for modern teaching techniques,” Oviedo-Winter Springs Life Magazine reported in its March/April 2016 issue. “New and veteran teachers visit his classroom to observe him teaching and his relationships with students. Every day, students are welcomed at the door with a handshake and are spoken to individually. That energy level is maintained throughout the day and students are engaged. Students adore Paul and love going to his class.”
Way to go Paul! And a great big THANK YOU to teachers everywhere for the work that you do.
