We worship Jesus as our Savior. Jesus walked on water and saved Peter from drowning. Jesus saves us from our sins!
When you sit at home: Read Matthew 14:22-34. How would you feel if you saw Jesus walking on the water? When Peter saw the wind, he was afraid. Talk about times when you have been afraid. How has God given you courage?
Ages 4-K Whisper Verse: “Jesus walked on the water.”
When you walk along the road: Have each person share one of their fears. Brainstorm ideas of how you can help that person overcome their fear. Make a plan and then pray and ask God to help you as you face your fears.
When you lie down: Pray this prayer each day this week: “Lord Jesus, please give me courage when I am afraid. Help me to keep my focus on You. Amen.”
When you get up: What did Jesus do once He dismissed the crowd and disciples? Where is a quiet place where you can be alone to pray?
