This weekend in children’s church, we will review the story of Easter. Jesus conquered sin and death when He rose from the grave!
When you sit at home: Before reading the scripture for this lesson, challenge your family to take turns telling the Easter story one sentence at a time. See the timeline below for some of the major events. Read John 20:1-18. Grades 4 &5 also read Romans 6:10; 11, 23; and Mark 15:37-39.

When you walk along the road: All who believe in Jesus will have life forever with Him in heaven. How do you think you would feel if you saw Jesus with your own eyes?
When you lie down: Pray this prayer each day this week: “God, we are so thankful for Your plan for us. Thank You for giving Your Son so we can have life forever with You. Amen.”
When you get up: What reminds you of the Easter story? Gather some symbols of Easter and create something your family can place in your home to remind you of all God has done for us.
