What do you think about when you have nothing else to think about? What occupies your mind most? That might be what you hallow, the thing that is most ultimate in your life. But if we hallow anything more than God Himself, it distorts our view of ourselves, others, and ultimately our view of God. So how do we change what we hallow? It begins not by increasing our goodness, but increasing our closeness.
