Ezra (Nov 7-8)

Ezra (Nov 7-8)

November 6, 2020

This week, we will hear about Ezra and the story of Israel's return from Babylonian exile and resettlement in the land.

When you sit at home: Age 3 through Kindergarten read Ezra 7:6, 8-10. Grades 1-5 read Ezra 7:6, 9-10, 25,27; 9:6; 10:1.

When you walk along the road: God gives us people like Ezra to help us know God’s Word. Who in your life encourages you to read the Bible and follow God together?

When you lie down: Pray this prayer each day this week: “Lord, thank You for giving us teachers to help us listen and learn Your Word. Help us teach it to others.”

When you get up: Ezra was a Bible teacher. Teach each other your favorite Bible story. Some favorites might include Noah’s ark, David and Goliath, Jesus’ birth, Jesus washes the disciples’ feet, and Jesus walks on water.
