Ezekiel & Daniel (Nov 6-7)

November 4, 2021

We worship the God who is Lord of all. That means He is the one in control of everything in heaven and on the earth. God gives life to everything. He gives life to us!

When you sit at home: Age 3-Kindergarten read Ezekiel 47:1-12. Just as the river flowing from the temple gave life to the trees, to whom does God give life? Ezekiel’s dream reminds us that God gives life to everything and everyone. God helps us all live and grow. How does God help you grow?

Grades 1-5 read Daniel 3:12-29; 4:3. The king of Babylon, King Nebuchadnezzar, (neb-uk-ad-nez-zar) made a giant golden statue that was 90 feet high. He ordered everyone in Babylon to worship it whenever the music played. God’s people knew they were not to worship idols. How difficult do you think it was for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to put God first by not worshiping the idol and risk their lives? How do you think being together may have helped them find courage to obey God?

When you walk along the road: God gave us life so together we could love Him and love each other. How can we help each other love God and love others?

When you lie down: Pray this prayer each day this week: “Thank You, Lord, for giving us life. Help us to come together as believers to love You and to love others. Amen.”

When you get up: This week, choose one way to celebrate the life God has given you. Whatever you do, remember to give God thanks for your many blessings.

Ages 3-K Bible Memory Verse: “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” Psalm 150:6

Grades 1-5 Bible Memory Verse: "You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9
