We worship the Spirit who changes us. This week, we read how Barnabas encouraged his fellow believers.
When you sit at home: Age 3-Grade 2 read Acts 9:26-28;11:22-26. Grades 3-5 read Acts 9:26-28; 11:22-26; 14:19-23. What does it mean to encourage others? How did Barnabas encourage his fellow believers?
When you walk along the road: Who can you encourage? How could you encourage them?
When you lie down: Pray this prayer each day this week: “Thank You, Lord, for faithful friends who honor You in each relationship. Fill us all with Your Spirit that we might be faithful friends, encouraging and building up the church. Amen.”
When you get up: Have each family member write or draw a note of encouragement for the other family members. You may wish to use the suggestion below or write your own note.
