A close friends son was hit by an suv, need prayer pls As I said on my Day 5 post, Grayson was not doing well yesterday. He got progressively worse as the afternoon progressed. His temperature was elevated and his morning x-ray showed some fluid build up in the lungs. By 7pm the x-ray showed there was a dramatic worsening of fluid in the lungs. They did an emergency bronchoscopy into the lungs and drained a considerable amount of fluid. His oxygen level fell to 60 percent, so they immediately began lifesaving interventions. He is in a medically induced coma and on full ventilator support. His white blood cell count is high at 19.3. This indicates infection. Normal WBC is between 5 and 10.5.
