We worship the God who saves us. This weekend in children’s church, age 3 through grade 5 will hear about Paul’s vision of a man from Macedonia. In his vision, the man asked him to come to Macedonia and help them. We are reminded to help others and to be ready to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading.
When you sit at home: Age3-Kindergarten read Acts 16:9-10. Grades 1-5 read Acts 16:6-10. Paul knew his vision (dream) was the Holy Spirit telling him to go to Macedonia. What did Paul do after his vision?
When you walk along the road: Have you ever felt the Holy Spirit leading you to do something or to not do something? What did you do?
When you lie down: Pray this prayer each day this week: “Thank You, Lord, for leading us with Your Holy Spirit. Help us better understand how we can follow Your lead in our daily life. Amen.”
When you get up: Paul, Silas, and Timothy traveled to Macedonia to teach people about Jesus. Ask the Holy Spirit what your family could do to help others and to point them to Jesus.
